Llamas cavort and fruit trees surround houses in a country hamlet, all beneath a warm yellow sun. Working in the traditional fabric art of arpiller???a (patchwork), Lucila portrays scenes from an Andean village. Each figurine, human or animal, is made of cotton stuffed into fabric “dolls” and then secured onto the appliqu??? wall hanging.
