“Our forefathers believed turtles bring good luck,” explains Tina Quaye. “They said that if you were lost at sea, turtles would surely guide you back to dry land.” Quaye sculpts the turtle from onyx featuring a smile on its face for the lucky creatures that turtles are.

Lifting his trunk, an elephant trumpets joyfully. Sorapon Dhupagupta sculpts this exquisite figurine in celadon ceramic, its crackled surface emulating the pachyderm’s wrinkled skin.
