Gilded clothing sparkles in this exquisite portrait of the Holy Family. Working in the style of the Cuzco school, Alberto Torres recreates the colonial art found in the city’s convents and monasteries. The exquisite painting shows silk brocade in 23k gold leaf. The painting is framed in cedar wood, carved to represent a retablo, or altarpiece, and covered in gleaming bronze leaf. Titled “Nacimiento” in Spanish.
