We have been talking over here at GearupGreen about what a different country we would be living in today if Al Gore had won the election in November of 2000. Imagine the progress we could have made in the effort to slow global warming. Perhaps Al Gore has made more progress working on this issue from outside the beltway, but we still have to wonder.

 I personally feel that Al Gore should run for president once again. The political climate has changed, the global climate has changed, and most notably he has changed. He is no longer the stiff necked candidate he once was, and history has proven him right on many issues, including global warming and the Iraq war.

You should note that we do not use the term “climate change”, because that is a right wing term used to play down the importance of global warming, and it’s effect on the people of Earth. Let’s get someone in office that has the experience and vision to take us forward to a positive future.
